First off, a band called Jenium PM'd me and said that they wanted a music video done for them. They said they'll pay and we even get to post in on NG under our own names. So I figured, "Hey, what the hell. The song is good and I getta post it on NG. I'll do it."

The song I am doing is called Close to Home by Jenium.

So why am I coming to you?

The song is 4:34 and I really do not want to do that all myself. I talked to the band and they said it was cool if I had other people come and help.

I have cut all the audio up into parts for people to do. The reason I'm not making a collab thread is because I don't want to get a ton of people involved.

So if you want to help make this happen, want a little recognition, and get a little cash in the process, post here and I'll gladly be open to look at your stuff to see if you are good enough. :)

I'll PM you the list of audio parts, lyrics to go along with them and audio files if you are legitimately want to help.

The parts average 20-40 seconds in length, so they are decently long parts.

I kinda wanna follow like a theme, but not exactly a story, y'know what I mean?

If they have only offered you 50$ so far, they're fucking around with you. Otherwise, they'rekn a really inexperienced band that have no owledge on how much animation costs whatsoever. A correct minimun would be 500$

Also, did they judge because of the Collabs you made or you gave them a Demo reel? They might've thought you made the whole thing and expect a quality above than what you can offer. Good luck with it anyways!

They are a local band, so they aren't too huge.

I figured I'd do a favor cause I liked the song regardless. ;)

They saw Pixelmas and Pixtropolis and alot of my other stuff and that's why they PM'd me.

I will be forcing a theme, but people can take that in the direction they feel it should go.
